It’s been a very busy day in the MLB world; the Phillies have shifted focus and are aggressively trying to acquire reigning AL Cy Young winner Cliff Lee have acquired reigning AL Cy Young award winner Cliff Lee. Roy Halladay’s name, momentarily unspoken because talks were last reported to be at a standstill, was brought back into the equation as the free-falling Red Sox make a push to keep him in the division. Let’s not overlook the fact that the Pirates have traded their young, gold-glove caliber shortstop and SP Ian Snell to the Mariners for prospect Jeff Clemente. However, one major storyline has gone relatively unnoticed, and probably would have flown under the radar had it not been for late night staple Conan O’Brien.

I can relate to that video. Ya know what would make it better? If that guy in the other car was one of the team doctors. These A-Holes couldn’t diagnose the chicken pox. How many guys have gone on the 15 day DL only to be out for a few months? And those guys were the best players on the team!! Maybe Bernazard took a bat to these guys after the diagnosis extending their stance on the DL. It’s really tough to express how difficult it is to be a Mets fan these past few years!

By the way, the Mets hitting coach is Howard Johnson. Does anyone remember how ugly his swing is? I urge you to look it up.
