Predictions and Prognostications for MLB 2010 Season
Get ‘em in. It’s time to do your best Nostradamus impersonation and attempt to look like a world class baseball analyst. Tell us if you think that Stephen Strasburg will win 20 games for the Nats; that the Royals will finish first in the AL Central; or that Jayson Werth will win the NL MVP.

The earlier the call the better, but if you need some info to help make the predictions, 27pitches will be here to help you out. Starting on March 1st, I’ll be previewing one team a day, starting the West and heading East. You’ll be reminded of all the pertinent offseason acquisitions and moves, and I’ll even be grading the teams on a scale of 1-4 Jobus.

Will your team garner the highly respected 4-Jobu mark? Check back and see. Of course, tons of other sports programs and websites will be doing the exact same thing, but none with the flare of 27pitches. As baseball season approaches, we are getting back to our roots.

SJ: None of the aforementioned predictions on Salsberg Werth or the Royals will come close to being true but these will; Halliday wins 21 and the Cy Young just edging out tne comeback player of the year Cole Hammels who wins 18. Also the Fightin’s win the World Series in an epic battle with the Redsox in six games as Ryan Howard hits a walk off in the 9th at CB on a tape measure shot for the ages. Shortly thereafter Howard wins his second MVP award .(Yes I am reversing my earlier prediction due to the superior starting pitching of the Redsox). Hey its Feburary and I can dream, can’t I. Although I seriously believe that this is the best Phillies team under Manuel and maybe ever. The bullpen rebounds big time this year and we all celebrate on Broad Street in late October with title #3. By the way Congrats on the year anniversary of the site.
