Everybody’s favorite sleeper should once again be in playoff contention. But with a shaky running game and the Defensive Rookie of the Year out for the first four games, the Texans are going to have their hands full trying to live up to expectations. Is this the year they break through or will the Colts once again prove too much to handle?

I have been a little busy working on a top secret project for a major provider of football information. What has Derek Anderson gotten himself into?

The first quarter of the season will end for most teams after this weekend’s games. A lot of teams like to look at the season, like the game itself, in four quarters. After the first quarter they gauge where they are at and then adjust moving forward. After this weekend’s games, a lot of teams will have a better measure of where they stand and what they’ll have to do to improve going into the second month of the season.

Last night, the Dolphins dominated in every phase of the game. They ran at will, they moved the chains through the air when necessary, and they contained the Colts offense for the most part. And yet, they still lost the game.
