Hold on a second…I’m still trying to catch my breath from the offensive explosion that occurred in last night’s Packers-Cardinals game that has to be the best playoff game (that didn’t include the Giants) that I can remember. The lack of defense was astounding and the quarterback play was magnificent. It was unfortunate that the game ended like it did amid the controversy, but I think what was even more surprising was that it ended with a defensive touchdown.

It’s Midseason Awards Time

Since we are basically halfway through the NFL season, I thought I’d take the time to give out my midseason awards. We all know that it’s not how you start but how you finish, but there are some teams that regardless of how they finish their seasons have been lost. Obviously these awards are subject to change as the season progresses, but as of right now, this is how I see things.

Whew! Yesterday was quite the day for football as we saw a legend create magic once more, a team get their first win in over a year, complete offensive futility, and much more interesting developments. There are some surprising undefeated teams as well as a few shockers that remain defeated.
