Ode to Jay Cutler

Jay Cutler, oh how I loathe thee. I am baffled by the love you receive so I try to watch you as much as possible. Every time you are on TV I tune in to try and see what they see. I’ve heard what they say about you: the rocket arm, the pocket presence, mobility, franchise quarterback, can make all the throws, and on and on. People love you Jay, they really do. So without further adieu here are the 8 things that I saw yesterday that I think everyone should recognize as well.

What has Derek Anderson gotten himself into?

The first quarter of the season will end for most teams after this weekend’s games. A lot of teams like to look at the season, like the game itself, in four quarters. After the first quarter they gauge where they are at and then adjust moving forward. After this weekend’s games, a lot of teams will have a better measure of where they stand and what they’ll have to do to improve going into the second month of the season.

After one week of play, many questions still remain about every team in the NFL. It’s extremely tough to determine anything after just one game, and teams should not panic or feel too good about themselves after Week 1. But after two weeks things become a little clearer.
